Welcome the Lunar New Year with a joyful and colorful performance by Li Garden Dance Company, founded in Stamford in 2017 by choreographer Kaili Chen. Rooted in traditional Chinese culture, the company brings classical and folk dances to life through expressive movement, storytelling, and community connection.
This festive program features a lively mix of performances, including dragon dance, sword dance, Yi ethnic dance, Tibetan dance, and classical Chinese solo dance. One of the highlights is an interactive dragon dance, where audience members, especially children are invited to join in and experience the excitement of this beloved New Year tradition.
